Tokyo Police Club

Havn't updated in a while, but I've been LOADED with exams lately: Finals, APs, SATs and all that lovely stuff.

But what has kept me going is Tokyo Police Club's new-ish album: Elephant Shell

With its catchy electronic beats, hinting xylophones, and pop undertones, it gives just the right amount of perk and optimism to my day. I know that older fans are complaining that this album doesn't have the raw feel that it had of the past ones such as A Lesson In Crime, or its EP Smith, but nevertheless, this album still is still great. Definitely check out Your English Is Good, Juno, and Tesselate, my favorites from this album. Also I found Box, from their EP Smith to be really good, with a Stroke-esque feel to it.

The First Post

For the past few weeks, I have been trying to think up of the perfect way to begin this blog. Searching for the meticulously picked out words that would truly describe how I am feeling and why I am here shouting out into the chasm that is the world wide web. Trying to find a way to say that I am here looking for something new to brighten up the dim glow of my life. Yearning for a way to speak my thoughts in a medium of acceptance. And this is all I came up with.
Capriciousocity is a refuge, where you can find a girl lost in a whirlwind of beauty, fashion, music, food, art, string-theory, and other bits of entertainment.
Enjoy your stay :)
